CPA Baker is the Managing Partner at SKA Associates and Chief Operating Officer at Eight Tech Consults Ltd. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK, and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU).

He holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management from Amity University, India, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Accounting and Finance in Cyprus.

With over 15 years of professional experience in audit, accounting, taxation and financial management, CPA Baker has developed extensive knowledge of the financial-services sector, supported by practical expertise in operations, regulatory compliance and risk management. He has assisted private companies, SACCOs and non-governmental organisations in establishing sound financial systems, efficient processes and effective internal controls.

CPA Baker also possesses extensive knowledge of Uganda’s tax laws and regulations. He provides clients with strategic tax advice, acts as a tax representative and supports organisations in resolving tax matters with the Uganda Revenue Authority. In addition, he delivers professional training in auditing and accounting standards and is highly experienced in interpreting and applying new and revised professional standards.

He currently serves as a director and board member of several companies, contributing expertise in financial governance, compliance, institutional growth and strategic decision-making.
